A vodka and coke, examined far more closely than necessary - dark cacao cola with sour cherry, warm spice and citrus essential oils, finished with Dutch Barn cherry vodka.
Ingredients
Cherry Cacao Cola Dr MSK
- 800g Filtered Water
- 330g Cocoa Reduced Liquid
- 370g Sour Cherry Compound
- 1.5g Sorrento Orange Essential Oil
- 1.5g Lemon Essential Oil

- 1.5g Lime Essential Oil
- 90g Cassia Bark
- 7g Fresh Nutmeg
- 6g Black Pepper Corns
- 8g All Spice
- 8g Star Anise
- 3g Clove
- 95g Fresh Ginger
- 3 x Tahitian Vanilla Pods
To Serve
- 50ml Cherry Dutch Barn Vodka
- Cherry Cacao Cola DR MSK
- Collins ice
- Cherry Garnish
Method
Mix water, cocoa liquid, sour cherry and essential oils together and place into a fermentation jar .
Split the vanilla pods and de-seed, slice the ginger, and lightly toast all the remaining spices and place all into the jar .
Close the lid and give a good mix before leaving to ferment at 32°c for 5-6 days.
Once ready, pass the liquid through a coffee filter and cool to 2°c .
Carbonate in a plastic bottle and reserve in the fridge .
To Serve

Place ice in a glass.
Pour in the Cherry Dutch Barn Vodka.
Top with "Dr MSK " and garnish with the cherry.
